There hasn't been any time to blog as you can see. Graduation parties, Birthday Parties, Fathers Day......
I've been working in the garden......we have a watermelon and 6 eggplants!
Promise I will work on some good pictures and better blogs. Dylan is turning 8 in a couple weeks and I'm getting everything organized. I'm sure I'll get something to blog out of that. :)

I'm still here!
The last couple weeks went by pretty quick. I have been playing around with this whole ETSY thing. I get a kick out of signing in and seeing how many people have been viewing my stuff.

We celebrated Troy's 50th birthday! He took it a lot better than I took turning 40 :)

Now we go right into Father's Day....I'll have to make a better post then because this girl is tired tonight....:)

My Etsy

It's been a year ( almost) that I opened an "Etsy" store. I always said, "I'm going to put my stuff on there" . Etsy, is a place online that is for handmade items that you can sell. It's kinda like Ebay, but you don't bid.
Well, the other day I spent all morning getting my pictures together and uploading to my little cyberspace store. I did it! The Pink Blueberry is finally on Etsy!
Let me tell you what motivated me to do so.....
My boys love electronics. And the newer model gameboy has been out and they wanted it pretty bad. I suggested they get their toys together and we'd have a yard sale. They pulled out 3 matchbox cars and a book. Needless to say, that wasn't going to be enough to get what they wanted. I wasn't too upset, I really didn't want to have a garage sale anyway. :)
A couple of months go by and now they have a great idea. There is a store called Gamestop that will give you money for your old games and consoles......They loaded up a bag and off we went. It didn't take the guy 2 seconds to offer them $5.00 for all of it. Tears fell that day. No Deal!
That brings us to last week. The boys said they wanted to sell their stuff on Ebay.
Here we go again.
I have had an Ebay account since 2004 and have only bought 2 home school books from it.
I said,....." you guys have to figure it out without me"
They took the pictures, uploaded them, typed out the description, put a price on it and waited for 7 days till the auction ended.
They ended up making $150.00! They were thrilled!

If they can do it, I can do it right?!

So, you will notice on the side of the page there is a widget of my Etsy store. I have other stuff I'm going to put on, but this was the ice breaker for me. I finally did it. ( Yay me)
