de-clutter, de-cisions, de-lighted

It's about that time again! Homeschooling a new year! This year is 7th, 4th and kindergarten!
I've been cleaning out drawers and closets and shelves, moving furniture around. I had the kids help, we had 5 bags filled with trash! I'm happy to say that every game piece, every pencil we couldn't find through the year, every movie that was not in the right case....has found it's perfect place. :) for a while at least.

This year I decided to close my embroidery business and focus on the kids school 100%! It feels like a big weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I put everything away...spools of thread, fabric, everything! Now I have a huge space for everyone to sit and learn! How cool is that!?

Now that I'm de-cluttered and almost organized, I have been searching the internet for some hands on learning ideas. I've missed that the most. I love unit studies and lapbooking and lots of unschooling approaches to teaching. I'm excited for this year to start. So are the kids... and that's a good thing!

Aug 22, that will be our "Not" going back to school day! YAY!
